How to Restore or Recover Your Lost IMEI After Reformatting or Flashing A ROM [FIX]

IMEI - International Mobile Equipment Identity - is a 15- or 17-digit code that uniquely identifies mobile phone.

IMEI lost commonly happens when you flash firmware to your android phone.

How to resolve this?
1. Using MTKdroid Tools (alternative method for non-root users)
2. or using chamelephon (root-user only).

In this tutorial I will teach you how to resolve this using chamelephone.

Requirements:
1. Phone with lost IMEI.
2. Phone must be rooted.
3. Chamelephon App
Important Note: Changing your IMEI is illegal just restore your android phone's original IMEI.
Changing it to be anonymous is on your own responsibility. I am making this tutorial for educational purpose ONLY.

Procedure:
1. Install Chamelephon from Playstore
2. Give root access to chamelephon.
3. Remove your battery and look at the back of your phone, there must be default imei written on it. Or look at the box of your phone when you purchase it, imei was written on it.
4. Copy the original IMEI of your device.

5. Apply the new imei
6. Then reboot.
7. After reboot check your device info if the IMEI was restored
